Just posting some photos to update family and friends on the current status of my continuing health journey.  I am enjoying relatively good health these days having returned to my normal weight of 160 pounds and a blood pressure which hovers around 100/70 which is actually quite good.  Through drastic diet and lifestyle changes I have improved my overall health significantly and for this I am most grateful.  Despite these advances, however, my neck and head pains continue which means we now advance to more in-depth neurological inquiry.

As the MRI photos below suggest, I appear to have a significant degree of brain stem and spinal cord compression at the skull base opening (foramen magnum) which may ultimately require surgical intervention.  I hope to soon present myself to brain and spine specialists then carefully weigh whatever advice they may impart..  While I realize intervention poses considerable risk, my study of this condition has convinced me that waiting passively.would be a far greater risk and so I am electing to move forward with more advanced diagnostic procedures..

The photos are self-explanatory.  I hope they will help clarify the circumstances at hand and eliminate unnecessary conjecture and worry.  I will post again when I have new information.  Until then I will try to remain healthy and strong and I hope all of you will do the same.  God bless.  :-)
